Basking: Expect them to bask for hours.
Social Signaling: Arm waving, head bobbing, and similar movements are common, especially when spotting another dragon.
Window Surfing: Occasional window surfing is a normal behavior.
Digging: If substrate is available, expect them to dig.

Climbing structures: Avoid nets of any kind, as these can cause your beardie to become caught and injured.
Dig boxes: Provide safe areas for natural digging behaviors.
Outdoor time: Supervised time in natural sunlight is beneficial.
Free-range movement: Allowed at home, provided no other pets are present that could pose a risk.
Tracking: Some owners attach a small helium balloon to their beardie to ensure they are not lost during supervised free-range time.

Nature: A seasonal, hibernation-type slowdown influenced by temperature and light cycles; this is completely natural.
Temperature influence: Dragons will not enter a full, deep brumation unless nighttime temperatures reach the 60s (°F).
Mild brumation: Occurs in some dragons and is not a cause for concern.
Symptoms: You will notice reduced activity, a decrease in appetite, and increased time spent sleeping.
Management: Some breeders and advanced keepers incorporate this into their standard care routines.
