Substrate
Substrate Options Recommended: Tile: Slate tiles are easy to clean and provide excellent grip. Tip: Keep extra tiles on hand to rotate out dirty ones for quick cleaning. Feeding & Nutrition
Feeding Schedule by Age 0–2 Months (Hatchlings) Insects: 5–6 appropriately sized bugs twice daily; focus on easy-to-digest insects (BSFL, micro dubia, etc.). Greens: Offered once daily. Behavior & Enrichment
Normal Behaviors Basking: Expect them to bask for hours. Social Signaling: Arm waving, head bobbing, and similar movements are common, especially when spotting another dragon. Enrichment Ideas Climbing structures: Avoid nets of any kind, as these can cause your beardie to become caught and injured. Dig boxes: Provide safe areas for natural digging behaviors.
